Welcome to Adriason Homestays ("we", "our", "us"). These terms and conditions govern your use of our website located at homestay.adriason.co.uk and any related booking services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Adriason Homestays operates as a booking platform connecting guests with property hosts. We facilitate reservations but are not the landlord or lessor of any property listed on our platform.

Booking & Payments

All bookings made through our platform are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers for certain bookings.
  • Currency: All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£ GBP) unless otherwise stated.
  • Pricing Accuracy: We strive to maintain accurate pricing. However, we reserve the right to correct any obvious pricing errors. If a correction affects your booking, we will notify you promptly and offer the option to proceed or cancel without charge.
  • Taxes: Prices may or may not include applicable taxes such as VAT. Any additional charges will be clearly displayed before you confirm your booking.

Cancellations

Each property listed on our platform has its own cancellation policy, which is displayed on the property listing page before you book. Cancellation policies fall into three categories: Flexible, Moderate, and Strict. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for detailed information on each category.

You are responsible for reviewing the cancellation policy applicable to your chosen property before confirming your reservation.

House Rules

As a guest, you are expected to comply with all house rules set by the property host. These rules are displayed on each property listing and may include restrictions on smoking, pets, parties, noise levels, and check-in/check-out times.

  • Guest Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that all guests accompanying you are aware of and comply with the house rules.
  • Damages: You are liable for any damage caused to the property or its contents during your stay. Hosts may charge you for repairs or replacement costs, and we may facilitate this process.
  • Noise & Neighbours: Please respect neighbours and local residents. Excessive noise or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.
  • Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity on the premises is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation and potential reporting to authorities.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adriason Homestays shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform or your stay at a booked property.
  • Disputes between guests and hosts regarding the condition, quality, or suitability of a property.
  • Loss of data, income, profits, or business opportunity.
  • Actions or omissions of third-party service providers, including payment processors and hosts.

Force Majeure: We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or internet/network failures.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using our platform, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos, and software, is the property of Adriason Homestays or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our platform without our express written permission.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
